The nest Ragnelle has been building in the woods needed a few more blankets now that the temperature has dropped a few more degrees, so this morning she was in the mansion raiding cupboards. Now she's outside in the lee of Nightingale's summer house with a basket of comforters, cutting them into pieces with a little knife so they'll be easier to incorporate, like leaves in a squirrels' nest. The time indoors has warmed her up, and her hands move quickly with the knife.

Janet's trying to take this whole cold-weather thing as a fashion opportunity. It's not like she ever totally stopped caring how she dressed, it was just that the boutique options in Fillory were severely limited.

She's taking a long red scarf and an even longer black peacoat out for a test spin around the lake when she spots Ragnelle, which obviously makes her stop. "Hey. Haven't seen you in a while."

This is the weather that Nina thrives in, when it's a little more crisp and light outside. The humidity in Ketterdam from the nearby ocean flattened her every summer. This feels good. She's out for a short walk when she sees Ragnelle and she watches her for a moment. "Do you need any help?"

The chill in the air was refreshing to Aleksander and after cajoling a heavy cloak from his closet, he ventured out on the grounds for a walk. During the course of his wanderings he came across a woman he had not seen before. He stopped out of curiosity and called out. "Hello! I apologize, I did not mean to bother you."

"Ragnelle!" Magnus is experimenting with coming closer to the Mansion more regularly. "What's up?"

"Hello there." The man himself has stepped out to see what's going on, watching her work with some curiosity. "We've not met before. I'm Nightingale."

Mothwing's on her way back from gathering moss at Magnus's hollow when she spots a twoleg doing something so normal it's shocking: making a nest. She trots over quickly, setting down her moss so she can speak.

"Forgive me for interrupting, but are you making a nest?"
